Underwater Cinema for Museum Theaters and Streaming
In 2023, Milbrand Cinema's current giant screen movie, Heart of the Reef (working title) tells the story of a young boy as he grows into a man and shares his understanding of the coral reef. This film highlights the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef along the Western Caribbean in Central America. Our museum film will inspire young people to become conservation minded. Logistical support was provided by Anthony's Key Resort and Aggressor Adventures.
Corporate Wildlife, Public Hearings and the Internet
Milbrand Cinema created two movies for Waste Management. One movie covers their operations and wildlife at their Guadalupe facility and the second movie shows endangered Bay Checkerspot butterflies and California red-legged frogs at their Kirby Canyon facility. Waste Management is certified by the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) for protecting threatened habitat and caring for endangered species.
Milbrand Cinema worked for nine-years, documenting the underwater life along the artificial Wheeler North Reef and for six-years scriptwriting, shooting and editing the restoration of the San Dieguito Wetlands for Southern California Edison.
